Onshape Enterprise connections

Workspace administrators can now connect Flow to their organization’s onshape.com enterprise tenant as well as standard Onshape. All CAD, automation, and AI activity for the workspace uses that saved host.

External recipients can filter shared views

Anyone a view is shared with can now add, change, and keep filters on it, with the match count shown beside the filter. A filter only reads the rows the recipient can already see, so it never surfaces or counts an item outside what was shared.

Ask the assistant what a branch deleted

Ask the AI assistant “what was deleted on this branch?” or “what can be restored?” and it reads the same newest-first list that the branch menu’s Deleted items dialog shows, on the same branch. Items created and deleted on the same branch are included, matching the dialog.

Fixes

  • Assistant follows your branch. Switching to another branch, or creating one, moves the open chat onto it. The composer’s branch chip names the new branch and the next message runs there. A reply that is still streaming keeps the branch it started on, and the chat follows the moment it finishes.
  • AI tool reuse. A tool the assistant already used earlier in a chat now works the first time on later turns instead of failing a step and retrying.
  • AI reorder handling. Reordering data types while the agent is working no longer makes it report that the data model changed and stop.
  • Stopping an AI reply. Pressing Stop now leaves the half-written reply and any tool results in the chat with a Stopped marker instead of replacing them with a cancellation note, and the conversation continues from there.
  • AI tools. Result rendering now matches the tool contract, so tool output displays correctly in the assistant.
  • Diagram swimlanes. Dragging a title bar on a large swimlane now stops at its maximum size instead of interrupting the diagram.
  • Table row reordering. Dragging a row through a long expanded table no longer leaves Flow stuck in drag mode when the original row scrolls out of view.
  • Hover actions on touch computers. Details and other row actions now appear when using a mouse on touch-enabled devices.
  • Onshape previews for viewers. Read-only members can open uncached 3D previews instead of seeing an access error.
  • Data exports for viewers. Read-only members can export CSV, JSON, and ReqIF files instead of seeing an access error.
  • Personal integrations for viewers. Read-only members can connect and disconnect their own Google, AoDocs, and Jira accounts instead of seeing an access error.
  • PDF previews for viewers. Read-only members can open and page through PDF attachments instead of seeing an access error.
  • Server-side filtering for viewers. Read-only members can use server-side filtering instead of waiting for large views to be scanned in the browser.
  • Item creation in filtered views. Creating from a selected folder automatically fills its upstream link, including in filtered views, and newly saved items refresh filtered results immediately.

Improvements

  • Faster item loading. Tables, Reader, trees, and details panels load item data with less browser processing, especially in projects with long edit histories.
  • Reader rendering. Documents paint faster when the Reader opens and while scrolling. Rows show their text through a lightweight renderer until their editor is ready, and the editor takes over at the same height.
  • Item references in tables and trees. Descriptions that reference other items now render through the lightweight path, so tables and trees full of cross-references open and scroll faster. Reference pills keep their hover cards and click-through.
  • Tree node descriptions. The description preview on tree cards uses the same lightweight rendering as table cells, so large trees with descriptions showing open and pan faster.
  • Rich-text table cells. Cells with headings, quotes, horizontal rules, or inline formatting now render through the lightweight path, so tables with many such cells open and scroll faster.
  • Filtered item counts. Counts finish faster in deeply nested views.
  • User filters. Faster global filtering for one person in a single-user field.
  • Filter responsiveness. Improved responsiveness for single-select tag filters and for filters that combine text with other conditions.
